Acer Trees offers full-service tree for clients in Weber, Davis and Salt Lake Counties
Acer Trees was founded in April 2017. Even though it is a new company the owners/operators Kevan Tolman and Mark Malmstrom have over 30 years combined in the industry.
Mark Malmstrom
Mark Malmstrom has been an ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist since 1994 and a Certified Tree Tree Worker Climber Specialist since 2008. He is an 8 time finalist and 4 time winner of the Utah Tree Climbing Competition. Mark has been an instructor at the Northern Utah Arborist School and is currently a member of the Utah State University Arboreteum Committee. He has extensive experience in crane removals, complex rigging, structural pruning, and tree assessment.
Kevan Tolman
Kevan Tolman was born and raised in Davis County Utah so he understands the unique climate and associated challenges. He has been in the Tree Care Industry since 2015 and a Certified Arborist since 2018. He has extensive experience with all aspects of the job including chainsaws, climbing, rigging, removals, and stump grinding and makes sure the job is done right. He has experienced windstorm and snowstorm events and has worked hard to carefully and safely remove trees out of houses, off houses, off vehicles, and to clear roadways. Kevan is a three time finalist at the Utah Tree Climbing Competition and most recently placed 2nd in a loaded field of over 30 competitors.
Our Mission
Our mission at Acer Trees is to provide the highest quality tree care in Weber, Davis, and Salt Lake Counties. Using modern techniques and equipment and adhering to national standards for tree care and safety. Education and professionalism is important to us as we are entrusted to care for your valuable trees. At our previous company we successfully completed thousands of challenging jobs in the Cache Valley area from large technical removals and clearing projects to fine detailed and formative pruning for thousands of residential clients.
